Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Janie spoke to America 24, one of Argentina’s largest national TV stations, about the U.S. presidential election and its possible implications for Argentina and the Latin American region as a whole. She downplayed the impact that the election results will have on U.S. policy toward the region. The live interview took place on the third evening of the U.S. Democratic Convention, shortly after Joe Biden’s speech was transmitted.
